A short tour at Lake Altaussee with a beautiful view over the lake and to the Dachstein.
You are on a gravel road throughout. Without significant climbs, the tour is perfectly suitable for
families!

Starting at the parking lot Scheichlmühle (P5) you drive on an asphalt road towards Obertressen and over the bridge to the left up to Bartlhof. At the barrier begins the gravelled Seewiesenstraße, which leads to the end of the lake and on to the Stummernalm without any significant differences in altitude. After the magnificent view over the lake, you return to the starting point.
A descent to the hunting lodge Seewiese is not allowed. Return on the same route, as the path around Lake Altaussee is reserved for pedestrians.
Along the tour there are several opportunities to park the bike (attention to road safety) and make a detour to the lake. In the warm seasons, a
swim in Lake Altaussee is mandatory.

Variable cloudiness with frequent sunny spells. Scattered showers will be possible around noon.
Fair or bright in the beginning, cloudy towards the end of the day.
