Thomas (famer):
You can sometimes find me on the mountain as early as 5 a.m., enthusiastically photographing a sunrise and philosophizing about life.
Despite many challenges, I am very happy to have grown up on the organic farm. This time shaped my relationship with nature in a very valuable way. After completing my plumbing apprenticeship, I moved to Graz, where I came into contact with social work through community service. I then completed further training and supported people with disabilities for over 10 years.
Over the years, I caught the travel bug and traveled to countries such as Turkey, India, Nepal, Laos, Indonesia,... Since then, I have felt wanderlust every now and then and have to pack my backpack to gain experiences that I try to implement at home.
I have been running the organic farm together with my parents Maria and Engelbert since 2014.
Karina (girlfriend):
Karina loves nature and the mountains. She studied sports science and English. As a trained Hatha yoga teacher, she accompanies you into a mindful everyday life. On herb walks and workshops, she shows you how to find medicinal plants and make healing essences from them yourself. In her free time, she likes to play the harmonium and tongue drum.
Maria (senior farmer):
Maria is the good soul in the house. With her loving nature, you immediately feel at home. She has exceptional skills as a cook and often prepares the most delicious dishes in no time, whether vegetarian or with meat.
She also literally has a green thumb, which makes every little plant that she gets her hands on grow and grow.
If you have an artistic passion in you, Maria can introduce you to the world of watercolor painting. She has shown off her artistic skills at several vernissages. Otherwise, she takes care of the house and the laundry.
Engelbert (senior farmer)
Engelbert used to be an on-board technician for rescue helicopters. He likes to talk about his experiences from that time in a very exciting way.
He is now retired and is following his calling of organic farming. With his philosophical nature, he likes to talk about the advantages of horned cattle, composting, spelt cultivation, forestry, homeopathy and Hildegard medicine.
