Durch gezielte Achtsamkeitsübungen, inspirierende Naturbegegnung und Gesprächsrunden lernen wir, dass wir auch unseren persönlichen Alltag in Verbundenheit mit unserer geistigen Lebensquelle erfahren können.

Unsere Lebensgestaltung ist eingebettet in kollektive Lebensabläufe und Gesellschaftsmuster, die uns Halt geben aber auch Erwartungshaltungen in uns aufbauen. Diese kommen einerseits von Aussen auf uns zu und werden andererseits als Muster aus uns
selbst heraus entwickelt. Im steten Wechselspiel zwischen der eigenen Persönlichkeit und dem Kollektiv unseres Umfeldes entfaltet sich danach der Fluss des Lebens.
Aktuell sind berufliche, zunehmend aber auch persönliche Erwartungshaltungen nach dem Prinzip der Leistungsoptimierung ausgerichtet. Das kann dazu führen, dass unser Bedürfnis das eigene Leben sinnstiftend und emphatisch mit uns selbst sowie im Miteinander mit den Menschen, Pflanzen und Tieren zu führen, irritiert wird. Zunehmend verwandelt sich dabei unser Wollen zu einem Müssen und manifestiert sich entsprechend im Sprachgebrauch. Das kann bei uns Anspannung und Unzufriedenheit auslösen. Doch wissen wir aus eigener Erfahrung um die Bedeutung der persönlichen inneren Verbundenheit mit der geistigen Quelle, da sie die Grundlage für unsere Vitalität und Lebensfreude ist. Denn es ist eben diese Anbindung, die uns intuitiv erfahren lässt, dass wir Teil einer Ganzheit sind, die das irdische Leben mit all ihren Lebewesen zusammenführt und sich im psychischen wie im physischen Bereich zu einem konstruktiven Miteinander entfaltet. Dementsprechend entfacht sich im Staunen
Lebensfreude und entwickelt ein achtsames und beziehungsvolles Miteinander.
An diesem Wochenende geht es um Freude, intensive Erlebnisse und die Kunst das Leben von einem anderen Standpunkt aus zu betrachten. Über Wanderungen und der bewussten Begegnung mit der wunderschönen Landschaft der Südoststeiermark bemerken wir, dass wir als Teil eines größeren Ganzen auch ohne eigenes Zutun immer verbunden und gehalten sind. Die empfundene Verbundenheit und die sich daraus entwickelnden Handlungen und Begegnungen lassen sich dadurch im Alltag leben und wir können uns vom mechanistischen Müssen trennen und in ein authentisches Wollen kommen.

When renovating our farm we paid a lot of attention to details. The house is build in the typical L-shape and houses apartments and cottage-suites that are equipped with heavy wooden furniture and modern standards. Located on a quiet hilltop between Riegersburg and Feldbach, the Sonnenhaus lies hidden, but still well connected. The farm house is surrounded by an extensive orchard. Small sauna for private usage (upon reservation). Fire bowls and grill for an evening out in nature. Apple trees connected by hammocks. Solar-heated outdoor pool to refresh in from April to October.

As hosts we are deeply rooted in the region Vulkanland Steiermark. We attach great importance to buying locally sourced food. In the former press we offer a regional breakfast put together with delicacies from our neighbours.

From the Sonnenhaus several hiking trails lead to culinary manufactories like Vulcano ham or Zotter chocolate. A guided tour through the brewery in our neighbourhood offers a lot of opportunities to talk about pioneers shaping the region. Along Vulkanland Route 66 tasty production sites and cultural highlights take turns wooing you.

Good to know: WIFI is available in the common areas, the reception inside the apartments is often spotty due to the thick walls. During winter we provide bathing robes for you, in summer we forgo it to save energy. There is no air-conditioning installed at the farm. The thick walls isolate and, together with a careful airing routine during the cooler night time, provide a comfortable indoor climate even during hot summer days.
