Rosegger´s Waldheimat

The famous styrian poet and his picturesque homeland

In the middle of the beautiful forests of the Waldheimat you will follow in the footsteps of Peter Rosegger. The famous poet and writer from Styria achieved high fame already during his lifetime and was nominated twice for the Nobel Prize for Literature. Peter Rosegger, who grew up in the Waldheimat, already knew how to appreciate and love the region back then - even if life was arduous in his time.
