Take the cable car up to the Hauser Kaibling mountain - walk down by foot to the valley!
A hike where you do the metres in altitude downhill. The tour is not for ‘weak’ knees, as you cover over 1.000 metres downhill. Hiking poles are definitely recommended for this hike.

- Valley station Schladminger Tauern cable car (above the catholic church in Haus im Ennstal)
- Valley station Hauser Kaibling cable car (directly next to the main road)
Markt Haus - Hauser Kaibling - Markt Haus. The tour starts comfortably with a gondola ride on the
Schladminger Tauern cable car or the
Hauser Kaibling 8-seater gondola lift & 8-seater Kaiblinggrat chairlift from the village of Haus im Ennstal. After savouring the view from the Hauser Kaibling into the beautiful Ennstal valley, follow trail no. 780 (Ernest-Reitzner-Weg) from the mountain station down to the Hauserberg. From Hauserberg, follow the path until you arrive back in Markt Haus at the cable car car park.
Tip: keep your eyes open from July to September. On this tour you will surely find one or the other chanterelle ;-)
