The highest treetop hiking trail in Europe is located in the middle of the Mur valley, overlooking the surrounding mountains as well as hills, meadows, forests and church towers in the surrounding area. With its numerous play stations it offers a varied excursion experience.
The eventful circular trail leads over 2.7 km through unspoilt nature. Numerous adventure and play stations make the visit a real experience, especially for families. Here you can practise your balance, take a seat on an oversized armchair or whizz down the 32 m long slide.
A separate relaxation path with power stations invites you to relax. For romantics there is a wide range of activities on offer - from your own romantic picnic in the "Tower of Hearts" to the love castles, for which there is a special place.
The top walk is a solid larch wood construction about 20 m above the forest floor, with stairs, towers, footbridges and platforms and 1,300 steps. The observation towers offer a 360° panoramic view and thus provide new insights and views into the world of the forest and the Mur valley.
For the brave there is the 4 m long floating viewing platform, which offers very special views!
On weekends, creative days for children take place at Sigi's Spechthütte - here, young and old visitors alike can let their creativity run wild and get involved in many fun things. They learn how to use bow and arrow, how to carve whistles, the power of herbs and much more. In the affiliated gastronomy, Fuchs & Henne, you can let this excursion come to an enjoyable end. If you still have energy, the youngest can still use it at the great adventure playground.
