The lifeblood of our business is the wine. In connection with nature, with the experience in the care of the vines and the knowledge of the refinement of the grapes, our vineyard of almost three hectares is cared for in painstaking manual work by Johannes and Hans, so that the best quality comes into the cellar and later out of the bottle. The work in the vineyard is done exclusively by the family.

Our vineyards are located at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level in a south-facing position next to our Buschenschank and about five kilometers away in a south-west-facing position at the parents' house of Annemarie Pölzl. Both vineyards are located in the wine-growing community of Großklein and belong to the Eichberg vineyard. Wines from this site are characterized by their fine, fruity structure. The cold air currents of the Koralpe as well as the soil conditions contribute significantly to the aroma of the wines. The soils on the Eichberg are low in lime and consist of a mixture of clay, marl and gravel, which stores water well and thus provides the deep roots with important nutrients. The climate, mild winters with large temperature differences between day and night, as well as hot and humid summers, also has a positive effect on the aroma of our wines.

Our wines are vinified in a classic fruity style, typical of the variety. We press 90% of our white, Styrian quality wines in stainless steel tanks. Our Muskateller and Sauvignon Blanc are marketed as Südsteiermark DAC. Our range is rounded off by our Zweigelt klassik, Muskateller Frizzante and Schilcher Frizzante.
