Susi, Susanne Pammer to be exact, is a garden and landscape designer. She also offers courses and workshops for garden lovers. On the side, Susi maintains her 5,000 m² garden. It is a hillside property with plenty of space for all family members. At the same time, the great diversity of nature has been preserved. You are welcome to take a look at Susi's garden, which she manages organically. It is constantly evolving and changes its appearance with the seasons and the years. Many inspirations are given to the visitors in an atmosphere - as if made to enjoy the fruits of the edible landscape and to have stimulating conversations with garden friends.
In January 2002 Susanne Pammer took over the small "witch's house" with the large garden, basically consisting only of a few large trees and a relatively steep slope with a small grove at the end. The first design measures resulted from the structural changes and in the summer of 2004 with the construction of a pond.
The last major project in 2016 was the construction of a wall made of 5,500 roof tiles. Thus, in recent years, various garden areas were created and nicely slowly the whole property is taken possession of.
Certified organic
From the very beginning, Susi has attached great importance to nature-oriented design and therefore she does a lot of mulching and little watering, she collects rainwater for the potted plants and the cactus collection and she is already a master at composting! That's why she doesn't need any mineral fertilizers, and the garden's beneficial insect-friendly treatment ensures her long-term use.
Many design features are at home in this garden. The size of the plot leaves many more possibilities open, one of the next plans is to design the lawn around the "sports field" on the theme of the seasons and to create a forest garden.
