The Sillweg observation tower is easy to hike from Fohnsdorf and a wonderful place to linger and enjoy.
A small lookout tower with a big impact is the Sillweger lookout tower built in 1909. The control room is at an altitude of 959 m and surprises with its exposed location with a wonderful view. At this small square there is a wooden house with seating and a panorama board, with the help of which you can determine the peaks of the Stubalpe and the Seetal Alps. You can make yourself really comfortable at this special place and if you want, you can extend the tour with a hike to the Hammerleck.
