In Gstatterboden, there is a pavilion.
A national park would only be half as good if it had no visitor centres or museums. That's why there is also the National Park Pavilion in the heart of Gstatterboden, which combines many wonderful things in a small space: good cuisine, a playful museum about the geology of the region and all kinds of (e)bikes to borrow and explore the area. Just around the corner from the campsite at the end of the Rauchboden Trail and on the Hochscheiben mountain bike trail is the grey-green-blue pavilion of the Gesäuse National Park. This is where people meet for a lunch break with schnitzel or to hike up to the Ennstalerhütte. You can also head for the Buchstein and the house of the same name from here. If you need a suitable "bike" for your next bike tour, you can rent one right at the pavilion.
