You are probably wondering right away what "Zum Stoabocha" means? Mario Rath's Heuriger is located in the Kleinsteinbach district of the thermal spa community of Bad Blumau - and the local Styrian pronounces Steinbach "Stoaboch". The Heuriger is just as quaint as its name. Quite inconspicuous from the outside, the bright ambience in the rooms and the traditional parlour is surprising. On warm summer nights, the cosy inner courtyard is particularly recommended for enjoying a glass of Styrian wine. The Vierkanthof offers the advantage of being able to spend your stay outdoors and yet protected all around.

Traditional hot dishes such as roast pork and schnitzel are on the extensive menu, as are Brettljausn, cheese platters or a beetle bean salad with Styrian pumpkin seed oil. The wine list also leaves nothing to be desired, with many regional wines from the volcanic region of Styria and eastern Styria to choose from. Juices made from local fruit, such as apricot or peach nectar, also quench the thirst of the numerous cyclists, as the R12 thermal cycle path and the "Fantastic Tour", for example, run right outside the front door. Special celebrations for up to 50 people are gladly arranged according to your wishes upon request and advance booking.

Indulgence tips: Every Friday in July and August there is a barbecue in the inner courtyard. In autumn there is an annual "Stoabocha" hiking day with culinary stops along the way - also suitable for prams.
