Welcome to the Buchberger butcher's shop on the Pöllau main square. Robert Buchberger is a passionate meat sommelier and combines tradition and innovation like no other. He knows how pleasure arises. It is not for nothing that they supply top gastronomy and have eight branches in Styria. The regional origin of the meat, the careful processing and the refinement according to traditional and innovative recipes produce the finest meat, sausage and ham specialties that you are welcome to taste.

As a family business, we have been passionately committed to enjoyment since 1946. With pride and respect. versus life. the farmer. The nature. of tradition. The origin of our products is as important to us as their careful processing.
Because we know where enjoyment comes from: it is on our pastures. Our meat - whether beef, veal, pork or lamb - comes without exception from animals from small farms in the Pöllauer Valley Nature Park and the surrounding area.
In the fields we can watch the leisurely grazing of our farmers' cattle. And Robert Buchbergersen. not only knows each and every one of them, but has also been visiting them personally when buying meat for decades. We see our craft as a service to taste, and we live this attitude day after day - with our actions and through the variety of our products. After all, it's quite simple: if you don't give a damn, you won't get a good sausage.
