Due to its location, it is an ideal starting point for hikes, mountain and ski tours as well as snowshoe hikes. For cross-country skiers, it is possible to enter the cross-country ski trail directly at the house. The ski lift in Hohentauern as well as the nature adventure park are in the immediate vicinity. Tobogganing possibilities are available. In summer, Hohentauern offers marked mountain bike trails. Furthermore, a tennis court and fishing ponds are available.

How to get there

Coming from Trieben through the village of Hohentauern. 200 m after the end of the village turn right or from St. Johann turn left before the village begins. Follow the road 500 m down to the ponds, 900 m up through the forest. Turn left at the toll station and after 50 m turn right to the house.
