Kick-off to the museum season

The seasonal museums are looking forward to the start of the season. From April onwards, visitors can once again indulge in a nostalgic car atmosphere, set locomotive switches and take off into heavenly spheres.

In the train

On Friday 31st March 2023, the Railway Museum Knittelfeld will start the season with a vernissage for the special exhibition "150 Years of Railways in Austria" at 7 pm. From 1st April, the museum will be open again from Tuesday to Sunday 9 am - 4 pm. Discover the long history of trains, rails, ladies' donations and co.

Pure nostalgia

The Puch Museum in Judenburg is ready for starting the season. On Sunday 2nd April 2023, the museum will open its doors for the season from 1 - 5 pm. In keeping with Palm Sunday, the parish priest of Judenburg will bless the vehicles at 2 pm. Afterwards, the museum invites you to a cosy chat with the lenders of the Puch vehicles. Of course, there are also great events this year, such as the "Anrollern" in May, the Puch Parade in August and many more.

Up to the Air

The Military Aviation Museum in Hangar No. 8 in Zeltweg will also open on 25th April. Admire air force greats such as the Fouga CM 170 "Magister", De Havilland DH-115 "Vampire", Saab J-29F "Flying Barrel" and Agusta Bell 204 as well as the famous Saab 35OE "Draken". Aviation enthusiasts can also look forward to simulators, radars and equipment.
