Varied tour with numerous historical highlights and scenically attractive viewpoints in the Niedere Tauern. This tour takes us through beautiful landscapes with their mountain lakes as well as interesting destinations such as the Brauerei der Sinne (Brewery of the Senses), the Lambrecht Monastery, the Star Tower with its unique planetarium and the Puch Museum Judenburg.
Fantastic round trip through western Upper Styria. From Spielberg we start in Fohnsdorf, Oberzeiring, over the Lachtal where we already make a short stop at the Gellsee. We continue to Oberwölz, St. Peter, Schöder to the Rottenmanner pond. There we can take a stroll around the pond in peace and nature. Afterwards we drive on to Seebach, Krakaudorf, Haiden to the district town Tamsweg in the Salzburg Lungau. Further we drive to Murau where we have the possibility to visit the brewery of the senses. Directly in Murau we pass the station of the Murtalbahn and drive on to St. Lamprecht where we can visit the monastery and its garden. Passing the lifts of the Grebenzen Alm to Judenburg, the former historic trading town with its star tower, which today operates the highest planetarium in the world. In Judenburg there is also the Puch Museum where we can experience the memories and nostalgia of the success story of Puch with its two and four wheels. After our round tour we will return to the Red Bull Ring where we have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of one of the most modern race tracks in the world.

You come over the Murtal highway S36.
Coming from the west:
Take the Spielberg exit and follow the signs to Red Bull Ring.
Coming from the east:
Kreuz St. Michael follow the S36 in direction Kärnten or Red Bull Ring.
Take the Spielberg exit and follow the signs to Red Bull Ring.
Spielberg - Fohnsdorf - Oberzeiring - Oberwölz - St. Peter am Kammersberg - Schöder >>> detour here to the Rottenmanner Teich >>> Hintermühlen - Krakauebene - Tamsweg - Ranten - Murau - St. Lambrecht - Teufenbach - Scheifling - St. Georgen ob Judenburg - Judenburg - Zeltweg - Spielberg
A special photo motif on the tour is the "church tower in the lake" in the Rottenmanner pond in the Murau district.
The starting point can be reached by train from Knittelfeld station or Judenburg and bus.
