Action in and by the Mur

The river Mur is the lifeblood of the Murtal and an important draw for the people of the region in their free time.

The river is a gathering place for beautiful strolls through the river wetlands and forests.

If you would like to experience the river in a different way, then why not take a dinghy out on the water to explore the Mur? On a pleasure boat ride like this, not only will you discover the hidden tributaries of the Mur, but with a bit of luck you'll also spot a few rare bird species. But more than anything else, this new perspective of the river will be a complete joy.

Anglers also love going fly-fishing in the Mur; fishing for Danube salmon is particularly popular here.
