From the general hiking starting point, the village square Fischbach, we walk along the main street with the many inns and cafes through the village, through forests and meadows near the high altitude health resort Fischbach. On the way back we also pass by the Freizeitland Fischbach. Many benches here invite you to linger and enjoy.

Arrival from Vienna: A2 to Neunkirchen, S6 direction Langenwang, exit Schwöbing over the Alpl. Through St. Kathrein and then on to Fischbach.

From Graz: A2 to Gleisdorf exit, B64 towards Weiz. At the roundabout before Weiz take the B72 towards Anger, Birkfeld, Fischbach.

From Salzburg: 145 via Liezen, then on to Leoben, from Leoben towards Kindberg (S6), Stanz via Mürztal, Fischbach.

We start at the village square in Fischbach
Past the old farmhouses we walk to the grocery store
After the grocery store we turn into the settlement street
We walk along the road
After a short ascent we reach the Mitterstuck through the forest
We pass some farmhouses
After the farmhouses we turn left into a small forest path towards Waldandacht
We follow the markings until we come back to the road of the lower Mitterstuck
From the farm Pöcklhofer we pass the orchard until we reach the farm Riedlerhof
From the Riedlerhof we walk down a field path and at the Kreuzriegel up again
After the Kreuzriegel we reach the Kurpark including the Freizeitland Fischbach
From the recreational area Fischbach we return to the village square

After a wonderful hike through the meadows and forests as well as the village center of Fischbach, you can perfectly indulge yourself with culinary specialties in Fischbach - from cafés to Hauben restaurants.
