Dahoam in Mariazell - that is the heart of this traditional house from the 1930s. The apartment on the 1st floor was extensively renovated and modernized with a lot of passion in summer 2020 in order to enable you and us to have a great holiday.

With 115m² over two floors, we offer you a spacious holiday apartment with enough space for up to 4 people.

The 1,400 m² property on a hillside offers enough space for little people to play and discover, as well as for tall people one or two places of retreat to breathe deeply or to enjoy the great view with a glass of wine to the fullest.

Arrival

Dahoam in Mariazell is - how could it be otherwise - in the heart of Mariazell, directly at the new cable car at the foot of the Bürgeralpe. Summer or winter - you can ski, toboggan or bike right to the front door!

The basilica, the center of Mariazell, is only a 5-minute walk away. Out the door, a little downhill and you are in the middle of the pedestrian zone (Wiener Straße) of Mariazell. Our house is the ideal starting point for hikes or bike tours and is located directly on the pilgrimage route (Via Sacra).

If you come by car, you drive from the main square via Schießstattgasse into Viktor-Lang-Gasse. A small, narrow private road (dead end) then leads directly to the garage of our house (approx. 60 meters). From there it goes down a few steps through the garden and you are already there. If you have a lot of or heavy luggage with you, we will be happy to help you with our own electric material ropeway with the transport down / up.

Room details

On the first floor you will find our cozy living / dining room from which you have a wonderful view of the Mariazeller Basilica and the surrounding mountains. When the weather is nice, you can also enjoy the view from the balcony and catch a few rays of sunshine. A modern and fully equipped kitchen and a newly renovated bathroom with a separate toilet are also on this floor, as is a bedroom from which you can enjoy the wonderful view when you wake up (so that you don't pull down the blind)!

On the second floor (top floor) we have made space for the little ones! Or for friends - just as you like it. There is a bedroom with two single beds and a spacious anteroom for playing or relaxing. A small private library is hidden in one of the closets in the anteroom and we have also provided a few board games in case you get bored.
