About us
Your specialist for bus and group travels
During guided tours through Austria’s largest active salt mine, your group will not only discover fascinating insights into salt mining but also experience the remarkable story of how Europe’s valuable artworks were rescued and protected here.
Visitors can explore tunnels carved from pure rock salt, the mystical St Barbara’s Chapel, an award-winning multimedia presentation at the underground salt lake and a newly created exhibition area dedicated to the recovery of cultural treasures. For generations, the miners’ slides have provided unforgettable memories for guests of all ages.
The salt mine maintains a constant temperature of around 7°C, therefore warm clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended. Protective overgarments are also provided for your groups on site.
