About us
Your specialist for bus and group travels
It is the meltwater stream that brings the underground labyrinth of the Lurgrotte cave to life. The cave is considered one of nature’s true wonders, not only because of the immense power of the water, but also due to the persistence of this natural element over thousands of years.
Along paved and secured pathways, your group ventures one kilometre deep into the fascinating world of stalactites and stalagmites during the one-hour guided tour, illuminated by state-of-the-art LED lighting.
Guests can also visit the cave museum – the site of a Neanderthal camp discovery – as well as the new prehistoric museum in Peggau. Additional facilities include a Wi-Fi hotspot and a visitor lounge with photos and information displays.
The Lurgrotte is also renowned for its beneficial effects on respiratory conditions.
