Obersdorf circular hiking trail - Nordic Walking

Closed
The Obersdorf circular trail opens up the area between Bad Mitterndorf and Obersdorf and uses 20 stations to explain what makes this region so special. Enjoy a light-hearted and relaxing hike through the beautiful landscape. It is worthwhile to take a close look at nature and the landscape between the individual theme stations.
The landscape is a work of countless processes. These began with the deposition of limestones and dolomites in a tropical sea many thousands of years ago. The Nordic Walking Tour leads on ten kilometers without significant differences in altitude through the contrasting landscape between Bad Mitterndorf and Obersdorf. The visitor is explained the formation of the landscape, the mountain formation of the Tote Gebirge up to the ice ages as well as numerous unusual terrain phenomena (moors, glacier mills, disappeared torrents, karst springs etc.) by means of marked stations.
