New beginning in Bad Aussee
The Narcissus Parade will take place in Bad Aussee on June 4, 2023. There, the artistic daffodil figures will be presented on the streets in the town. The festival area will be open to visitors from 9 am. In the early morning, the festival program begins with magicians from the Magic Ring Austria, music and culinary delights. A jury will inspect and judge the figures. In the future there will be an overall evaluation, the separate award of the figures at the lake will be omitted.
A festival for young and old
The 63rd Narcissus Festival will take place from June 01 to 04, 2023, and will ensure bright eyes for young and old with a colorful program. Thus, there will again be beloved events such as the May Dance of the children and the Fashion Show - the special presentation of local crafts. Consideration is being given to organizing the Fashion Show on catwalks on each floor of the Kur- & Congresshaus Bad Aussee, so that more guests can enjoy the presentation. Also the oldtimer meeting, the blowing music star march and the daffodil night in Bad Aussee belong to fixed points.
With a prelude meeting on 01 June 2023 the new Daffodil sovereigns are presented and crowned. In addition, there will be music of various genres.

The Daffodil Festival takes place from 30 May to 24 June 2024 for the 63rd time in the region Ausseerland Salzkammergut. The organizer is the Narcissus Festival Association. The association was founded in 1983 for the preservation of local history and monuments in the Ausseerland. Since January 2019, Ing. Rudolf Grill is chairman of the association. He and all association officials perform their duties on a voluntary basis. 3,000 helpers from the region participate in the work on the festival.
