The mountain inn Hollhaus is located on the Tauplitzalm above the large parking area.

The austrian alpine club house was built in 1924/1925. In 1960, the Hollhaus was leased by the the Hüttner family and was purchased by the family in 2008. Meanwhile, the third generation is already working in the business.
The 19 rooms are all comfortably furnished and equipped with a sink. The shower and toilet are located in the hallway. On the sun terrace or in the restaurant you will be treated to regional and traditional dishes.

The Hollhaus is considered a specialist for family mountain vacations. In the weekly booked summer weeks, between August and July, every day of the week a different destination on the 6-lake high plateau is headed for. The excursions are led by qualified hiking guides and youth workers. Thus it is possible, together but also without children, to be safe on the trail. The adventure vacation with a lot of hikes and leisure activities, such as exploring natural caves, is rounded off with stories around the campfire under the stars of the Tauplitzalm.

In winter, the Hollhaus is located directly on the slopes, so nothing stands in the way of a successful day of skiing or a winter hike. In winter, as in summer, fun and adventure are pre-programmed in the Hollhaus.

    The Tauplitzalm can be reached from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (subject to toll)

    In summer you can drive up to the accommodation. In winter, the car must be left at the large parking area on the Tauplitzalm. You will be picked up from there and brought to the farm.

    The boss of the house offers trips with the slow train over the high plateau in summer month.

via the A2 Südautobahn, the S6 to St. Michael, continue on the A9 Phyrn-Autobahn, take the Liezen exit to the Trautenfels junction - turn off to Ausseerland

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen

from Salzburg

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen

from direction Carinthia

via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
