From Pürgg to Unterburg and Trautenfels Castle. Via the cemetery (Pfanner) to Untergrimming and along the Kapuzinersteig to Pürgg.
OF COURSE CULTURALLY. From the parking lot in Pürgg you march past the parish church and St. John's Chapel in the direction of Unterburg Castle and Trautenfels Castle, across the historic burial ground to Untergrimming and along the Kapuzinersteig trail back to Pürgg.

On the Ennstal Bundesstraße B 320 at the traffic circle in Trautenfels take the exit towards Tauplitz. Along the Salzkammergutstraße B 145 until shortly after the tunnel, turn right and drive uphill to the village of Pürgg.
You start from the parking lot Pürgg and march through the village, past the parish church and St. John's chapel towards Unterburg. Continue to Trautenfels Castle, downhill again and across the historic burial ground to Untergrimming. Via the Kapuzinersteig you hike back to Pürgg.
Above Trautenfels Castle, only a few minutes away, the detour to the Neuhaus church ruins is worthwhile.
