Almost 20 years ago, Herbert and Heidi Germuth built the winery and guesthouse Oberer Germuth from the small Lopic-Keusche where we now proudly and confidently look to the future on the steepest part of the Glanzer Kellerstraße. In 2001, the neighboring house was purchased and converted into a guest house with 4 apartments. In 2006 the cellar was built with a wine tavern that combines modernity and tradition.

Our winery comprises approx. 6.5 hectares of vineyards in sustainably certified cultivation, which is a near-natural method for the production of high-quality grapes. Careful treatment of nature and a consciously restrained impact on the environment are just as important to us as quality awareness in wine production.
