Game dishes, St. Martin's goose and regional specialities provide an enjoyable setting for your company event in autumn. An exclusive evening for connoisseurs is coming up on 21 November 2025. Guest chef Thomas Gruber (JRE) from Seespitz - Restaurant & Living in Velden am Wörthersee will be cooking together with chef Christian Spreitz and his team (limited number of participants).

DER STEIRER – also the culinary heart of all events at Hotel Das Weitzer – now presents itself after the renovation as a light-filled place that combines cozy hospitality and openness in a new way. The striking red vintage car, a Puch 500, placed in the middle of the room serves as a reminder that here, one is also happy to look beyond the culinary borders of the region! A highlight is the new standing bar Senf & Söhne, which, inspired by the buffet culture of Trieste, serves hearty classics such as Cotechino and smoked meat, goulash, Krainer sausages, as well as Birra Moretti and Prosecco: under the patronage of DER STEIRER, every Thursday to Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM!

There are also updates from the two other Florian Weitzer Hotels in Graz. After six successful years in various positions within the company, Bea Dehlinch has recently taken over as the director of Hotel Daniel Graz. At 25, she is one of the youngest hotel directors in the country – an achievement she has earned through hard work, dedication, and ambition as a passionate athlete.

Since the beginning of May, Boris Janbay, together with his team, has been welcoming guests to the hotel as an experienced and professional host. After successful positions in both international and domestic luxury hotels – including at Hotel Bareiss (Baiersbronn), Schloss Pichlarn (Irdning), Chesa Guardalej (St. Moritz), The Lanesborough (London), and Son Julia Boutique Hotel (Mallorca) – he is now dedicating himself with great enthusiasm to continuing the success story of the Grand Hôtel Wiesler.
